The advocacy spirit of The Malbrue Group as a woman-led organization is to lead with persistence and fearless insistence while “coloring outside of the lines”. The purpose driven work on behalf of our clients aims to remove barriers and open doors to new opportunities for the clients we serve.

This spirit of advocacy was influenced by pioneering women in the 1920’s who led one of the first organized black congressional lobbying efforts to advocate for the passage of civil rights legislation in Washington, DC. Their early influences are the foundational pillars of The Malbrue Group.

WHAT WE DO
The Malbrue Group is a Governmental Relations and Public Affairs consultancy with relationships and a track record of proven policy success at the state and local levels of government.
capabilities
The growth of startups often demands coordination with the local communities in which they reside. If your business provides resources to municipal governments or requires permit and licensing approvals--strategic relationships with decision makers in those communities are key. Additionally, the political landscape in a large city or small town can dictate your development goals. Our team has relationships with key stakeholders and elected officials to help your company grow and evolve to meet your business needs.
LOBBYING
Relationships are key, but beyond relationships it is important to be aware of important policy issues before legislation is drafted or approved. Skilled policy analysis coupled with access to stakeholders proves a government relations expert’s real value.
procurement
Your firm’s win models demand key strategic positioning and ongoing engagement with government stakeholders. Foresight on Economic Development, Technology, Engineering, Infrastructure, and other services can position your team for success.
advocacy campaigns
Coordination with grasstop officials to advance an organization’s campaign is key to advancing a cause. Proper strategy and effective coalition building help to expand high-profile influence.
public affairs
Success involves a proactive response to company needs which highlights your achievements. The anticipation of challenging decisions in times of crisis also requires skill and expertise to get out in front of an issue. In today's environment of rapid news cycles and global access to media, it is important that you control the narrative as it is projected to the world.
