brandeis M. PARKMAN

A well-respected political consultant, Brandeis Parkman brings decades of relationships and strategy to advance the needs of a diverse client roster. Brandeis’ cross–intersectional expertise in advocacy, policy influence, and legal analysis delivers results. Her extensive relationships with elected government officials and stakeholders provides invaluable insights on legislative initiatives which could have an impact on an organizations’ goals.  

 

Brandeis has helped organizations like RaceTrac, the Atlanta Hawks, and the Atlanta Hotel Council and municipalities like Clayton County navigate the complexities of state and local government relations. She uses key strategic insights to advance business development endeavors. Her experience was gained after years of producing winning work for Construction Management, Solid Waste, Telecom, and Engineering firms. Brandeis navigated the halls of councils and boards of commissioners to gain permitting approvals for industrial developers. Building business-to-government partnerships is

evidenced in Brandeis’ in-house role with Mobilitie telecom, where she worked with officials in Alabama, South Carolina and Georgia to enhance mobile data coverage in underserved communities.

Her early work was influenced by leaders in the local Atlanta civil rights movement where she served as a youth community organizer in coordination with the Coalition of the People’s Agenda. That work was followed up with her roles as a political campaign operative. She would later train aspiring officeholders and advise elected officials, serving as an aide to the Georgia Senate Minority Caucus and later as chief of staff in the Georgia House.

Recognized for her leadership commitment to her community, Brandeis served on the 2021 transition team for Henry County Commission Chairwoman Carlotta Harrell.  Brandeis serves on the board of the Georgia WIN List where she was also a member of the 2018 Georgia WIN Leadership Academy. Brandeis is an alumna of Spelman College and Georgia State University College of Law where she earned a juris doctorate degree. She resides in Henry County, GA with her husband and two sons.
